NEEDHA Dinner Planned for FIE

A dinner for Electrical Engineering Department Heads and members of NEEDHA is planned for the 1997 Frontiers in Education Meeting, to be held in November, 1997, in Pittsburgh, PA.

The department head dinners held in conjunction with the FIE and ASEE conferences continue to be a great opportunity to converse with our counterparts at other schools, meet old friends, and just have a fun time.

The department head dinner in conjunction with FIE'97 in Pittsburgh will be held Thursday evening, November 6, 8:00 p.m. at the Grand Concourse Restaurant, 1 Station Square. (The Grand Concourse is close to the conference hotel.) The menu is as follows:

The price is $34 which includes tax and gratuity. You will be able to individually pay cash for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

If you are interested, please RSVP by Wednesday, October 29, at 785 864-4486 or email: jroberts@eecs.ukans.edu. Tell me how many are in your party and which entree choice(s) (beef or fish) you prefer. The default values will be one (1) person and fish (The Grand Concourse is a seafood restaurant!). Plan on paying me at the dinner in cash or by personal check; I will provide a receipt. I look forward to seeing you at FIE and the dinner.
