The Omni Royal Orleans is only 12 miles from the airport and easily accessible by taxi ($21 per person) or airport shuttle ($10 per person).
Each attendee should bring copies of material prepared to date which relate to implementation of Criteria 2000 and the ABET self-study. Examples include educational goals and objectives, constituent input, related curriculum development activities, assessment plans, assessment results and analyses, summary reports, etc. Participants should be prepared to make a brief presentation regarding their C2k status, self study, and visit preparations.
Participants will be organized into small groups with a facilitator who is experienced with respect to Criteria 2000. Separate groups for the classes of 2000 and 2001 will be organized. Within each group presentations of each program status will be made and best practices will be shared. The afternoon session will be organized around topics that have been identified during the morning session as needing additional attention.
NEEDHA alum will participate in the Workshop.
